This policy describes how information is handled by the I DO JAZZ piano practice app and its website.

Your practice stays on your device

The app stores settings, practice progress, scores, and exercises you create in local storage on your device. Notes received from a connected MIDI keyboard are processed on your device for sound, practice feedback, and MIDI exercise recording. These recordings contain musical note events, not microphone audio. The app does not upload your practice history or MIDI recordings to our servers.

No account or advertising

You do not need an account. The app does not include advertising, advertising identifiers, or tracking across other companies' apps and websites. It does not request access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or location.

Loading app content

The app loads its content from idojazz.pages.dev, hosted by Cloudflare. When your device requests content, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, request details, and browser or device information to deliver and protect the service. Cloudflare may retain network and security logs under its own policies. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. This network processing is separate from the practice information stored on your device.

When you contact support

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to respond to your request and troubleshoot problems. Please avoid sending sensitive information. You can request deletion of support correspondence by contacting us through the support page, subject to any records we need to retain to meet legal obligations.

Managing your information

Local practice data remains on your device until you remove it. In the browser, clearing this site's website data removes local progress and settings. On iOS, deleting the app removes its local app data; offloading the app keeps it. Device backups may retain copies under your device and backup settings. We cannot restore local practice data after it is deleted.
